Rohrspatz & Wollmeise Pure: Nobody Is Perfect Yarn - color-flawed
Funny story! In our quest for indie yarn a few years ago, we found a very promising yarn from Germany, Rohrspatz & Wollmeise. With help of a nice person on their staff and a little patience, some gorgeous yarn arrived straight from the knitting bastion of Germany!
The one drawback of that wonderfully soft but firm superwash merino wool, is most of the labels and other materials are written in German. Mr. & Mrs. Knits learned another language or two, but German was not one of them. It took several attempts to decipher all the details - we wanted to do some justice to this amazing yarn!
Here is the scoop: among the few English words on the label is “Nobody Is Perfect”. With Germans renowned for precision, they actually divided the known flaws into multiple categories.
In this listing, you can expect to find subtle color variations, or other unknown flaws within the skeins that we send you. So there will no returns allowed for those flaws. Mrs. Knits knows how to knit-in differences in color-pooling, and can offer some guidance if you are not sure how.
Viel Spaß beim Stricken! (Happy Knitting in German)
