Featured in the Noro Magazines (published by Vogue Knitting) - many patterns available with ample inspiration. Jumbo balls means that you have minimal joins and ends to weave in.
What is it?
Ito is a slubby, worsted weight, 100% wool that comes in BIG 200 gram / 437 yard balls. One of Noro's most colorful creations, Ito provides an ever-changing color spectrum as you knit. One ball is enough for a scarf, but it is also a fabulous choice for head-turning sweaters. We dare you to count the number of colors you can find in each ball of Ito!
Saiun is the rainbow effect of the mist between glowing clouds. Constructed with many colors like its big brother ITO, the end result is an unforgettable array of saturated hues. Each ball embarks on a color journey of happiness & reminds us that spring is right around the corner. Sauin adds a touch of nylon for strength making it an excellent choice for sweaters, socks & winter hats. Bordering between lightweight & aran, the possibilities are endless!
The name describes it perfectly: a base of Super Kid Mohair, interwoven with some Silk, and just a touch Nylon & Polyester for that Lux factor. While most suited as a run-along with classic yarn, such as our Jody Long Ciao, Silk Mohair Lux could indeed stand on its own for accessories. Yarn so fluffy and colorful will add a luxurious touch to your projects.
Tensan, the Japanese word for “silkworm,” honors the ancient origins of silk — a fiber treasured for its strength, sheen, and timeless luxury. Blended with fine wool, this yarn brings together warmth, resilience, and a glowing softness that feels indulgent against the skin. Each generous 150-gram skein (328 yards) is dyed in Noro’s unmistakable palette, where deep earth tones merge with radiant bursts of color. The flowing gradients and vibrant contrasts reflect Noro’s philosophy of drawing inspiration from the natural world, transforming every skein into a gorgeous landscape of fiber.
Designer Jenny Watson says this is the for the girl that loves to shop and enjoys style and fashion. Her collection can be worn in a number of ways, either casual and trendy to sophisticated and smart.
A classic pattern book with timeless classics! This collection of hand knits continues Jane Ellison’s philosophy from her first book, Simply Noro, to create easy patterns with no complicated abbreviations or techniques, just straight-forward, simple patterns. In Noro Unlimited, patterns include several various tops, mittens, and a handbag. Patterns can be knitted in Silk Garden, Kureyon, and Iro (Ito is a good substitute for Iro).
Several colors are available - Beautiful, Sophisticated Shades. The texture is luxurious faux Fox Hair. Includes a fastener for easy attachment to a hat or scarf (unless otherwise noted). Shown in Noro Magazine #21 as a pom-pom on top of a hat. Put the finishing touches on your projects with beautiful, quality pom poms. It is also excellent for sewing or crafting to elevate your style.
Queensland Perth is an Australian Superwash Wool Blend yarn that comes in a festive range of self-striping colors. Strong enough for colorful socks, but you'll want to show it off with lace shawls as well. Perth has delightful self striping in a machine washable yarn which sets you up to knit the most wonderful socks!
Louisa Harding's Enorme is special fiber blend that is super bulky with gorgeous richly saturated dyes. It's stunning for look and feel, and you can knit up a project in a weekend. It would be cute in a hat or scarf for quick knitting.
The Quechuan word for “soft”. Ushya lives up to its name! This super bulky yarn has a chainette construction which makes it lofty without being heavy. Great for quick hats and accessories, but also wonderful for snuggly sweaters.
With a retro style, this strikingly beautiful yarn, Pouffe from Louisa Harding, is a Super Bulky gauge yarn that is light as a puff of air, or a fluffy cloud floating in the sky. And so soft & cuddly, you won't want to take it off! Of course there is that "instant gratification" of a project growing before your eyes! It knits up so fast on US 11 or 13 needles, your project will practically knit itself! At a very generous 295 yards per skein, this deliciously soft 90% Extrafine Merino Wool combines with just 10% Polyamide for strength and durability that will not disappoint! Pouffe will cuddle you in warmth, comfort, and softness all season long!

Akari is a soft, worsted weight multi fiber blend that features organic silk and cotton. Translated to "light" or "glimmer" in English, the silk adds a beautiful sheen to this yarn. It is a delightful choice for knitting and crocheting multi-season garments.
Mrs. Knits knitted it in a shell tank top using several different yarns to test out the patterns. Akari is a favorite of hers because the designs are simple to knit and very stylish. The colors have a white-wash effect.
Gorgeous, tweedy yarn from Noro that will set you up for summertime Happy Knitting and Crocheting! This blend of nearly equal parts silk, cotton, and polyamide give Kompeito softness, durability, and structure.
So it has the versatility for short sleeve tops and shawls, as well as for scarves and pullovers.
Kompeito works well with Noro Sonata, which we are re-launching, so you can add a splash of vibrant color to your project.
