An exercise in refined saturated color, Sonata is available in a rich palette of semi-solids. A delicious cotton blend for next-to-the-skin projects. Since Sonata is more cotton based than most lightweight yarns, it is less slippery than some silks but is lighter weight fibers than many wool yarns.
Think breezy summer shells or shawls that have the stitch body and definition but are cooler for hot weather wear. And these colors provide a delightful contrast to the tweedy Noro Kompeito yarn.
Akari is a soft, worsted weight multi fiber blend that features organic silk and cotton. Translated to "light" or "glimmer" in English, the silk adds a beautiful sheen to this yarn. It is a delightful choice for knitting and crocheting multi-season garments.

What is it? Silk Garden in single colors with ombre shading rather than the original multi-color. With the Solo you can double strand the solo with a jazzy sequin or metallic - making it sparkle without being difficult to knit up like some straight novelty yarns. Mrs. Knits would never put stiff yarns on her needles so of course we never promote unhappy knitting.
