Happy Holidays!
A day in the life of Mrs. and Ms. Knits creating a trunk show. With a guest apperance of our first shop morale officer Albert the Alpaca. Happy Knitting!
The holiday season is classically filled with joy and peace. Sometimes adult beverages or too much eggnog is funny. But on a serious note, we want to talk about the hard stuff not intenting to be negative. We just feel that the truth is liberating and we are looking to build community of love and support.
Hard stuff is when the joy is marred by broken or dysfunctional relationships. We are grateful to be in a new normal that holds space to those who are triggered by mentions of friends and family suffering from abuse or other issues.
It’s not just about selling yarn - although Mrs. Knits does find comfort in knitting. As a young girl the misfit that Bonnie (Mrs. Knits) felt like, being a fiber artist provided her a sense of serenity and just a moment or so to escape her anxiety ridden constitution.
In her world travels Mrs. Knits was blessed with a vision of fiber artistry that now has blossomed into our shop.
So with Noro’s World of Nature he was a humble man from a fishing village in Japan who did great things with eco-friendly fibers that changed the knitting industry.
So in her small corner of the world Mrs. Knits hopes she can bring a little hope to her fellow misfits who embrace the magic of chasing serenity in knitting and crocheting
Happy (Holiday) Knitting!
Mrs. and Mr. Knits.
