Out of the Box with Mr. Knits: Not phoning it in
My personal ringtone is, for people I know, from my all time favorite song, “Mind Drive” by Yes. For calls not in my phone book, the song is “Cosmik Debris” by Frank Zappa, a song about a snake oil salesman’s pitch.
Many of you probably get random phone calls, at best trying to sell you something, at worst nobody is there. With phone providers and the authorities inadequately safeguarding against these practices, we receive several of these unwanted calls every day. It’s quite disruptive in getting those yummies you ordered out to you!
Seriously, it’s bad, and this is not a complete list for that day
So I strongly recommend using our contact form, or texting us at the same phone number. That’s an action item in my in-box that I can give a well-thought-out response to.
If you REALLY want to call us, our policy is to not answer the phone unless we know exactly who is calling. So please leave a voicemail, and we will usually check it by the next business day. Sorry it has to be this way, but the out of control telemarketers have pretty much ruined the telephone as a communication method.
We take excellent customer service quite seriously, that includes balancing shipments and hearing from you. It also includes setting expectations, in the interest of trying to under-promise and over-deliver. We want you to have a good experience in receiving your Happy Knitting and Crocheting.
