Out of the Box with Mr. Knits: Summer Updates
Nothing ground-breaking going on for a change. 😊 But I do have several general updates.
Our late Summer clearance sale will continue through Labor Day. Yarn is flying off our warehouse shelves, especially where we are charging wholesale prices, and a few yarns have already sold out. So get in on that action while you can - the yarn is high quality in our De-Stashing Bin too!
Any items in our De-Stashing Bin are closeout for our store, or discontinued by the manufacturer, so there will be no restocks. Our web provider does not allow us to turn off the wait-list for just the De-Stashing Bin. I will try to take down out of stock items as they run out, to prevent any fruitless wait-list sign-ups. So if you don’t hear back from a wait list signup in the De-Stashing Bin, that’s why.
We’re starting to see increasing issues with order deliveries misdirected by the US Postal Service, like a recent shipment that went from Seattle to Los Angeles via Chicago. They have served us well over the past few years as our primary carrier, but steering clear of political considerations, any upheaval of an operation like the USPS is bound to cause disruptions. So we’ll be shifting some of our shipments to UPS, at least for now. Please do not hesitate to contact us if it’s starting to look like your yarn is taking a grand tour of the continental USA. 😊
Checking in from outside the USA? I found a glitch in our order shipment settings that might have prevented you from ordering recently. So I encourage you please to try again. If your order still does not go through, please feel free to contact us to troubleshoot, or add your country.
It’s unusually hot here in the Seattle area. I know, low 90s doesn’t seem like much, especially to Southern folks, but it’s very unusual here. One or two shipments will be delayed as a result of a warehouse pushing 100°, but I will use Priority Mail for any of those delayed shipments.
