It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Philip (Mr. Knits) Mariconda….

On April 18, 2026 Mrs. Knits lost her husband and business partner Philip David Mariconda after a long illness. Words cannot express our sorrow over his traffic passing. The light of the craft industry is dimmer without him.

After stepping away for a bereavement leave, Mrs. Knits is coming back to the helm to resume working on Mr. Knits legacy. It’s time to pick up her needles again and get excited about all the fabulous new collections rolling out for Fall 2026. Stay tuned for new blog posts and of course our fabulous semi-annual clearance sale we are rolling out this week.

This time we are doing it a little differently. In Mr. Knit’s absence we have had some logistical challenges so we are running this season’s clearance sale on eBay again; Our website is down for technical issues but we are working hard to be back live again for the fall knitting season.
