It is with sadness that we have to announce the passing of Philip (Mr. Knits) Mariconda and the resulting changes to the knit shop.

In case you were wondering why we were suddenly off-line Mr. Knits passed away unexpectedly just days after pausing the store. It has taken six weeks of effort to be able to login into accounts and otherwise publicly address business matters so we appreciate your patience.

Mrs. Knits will be retiring because the magnitude of trying to run this business, it was built on our relationship with our customers is not sustainable without him. It would be unfair to try to provide the level of service that he did.

I am looking forward to taking up volunteer work and philanthropic projects, including helping the next generation of Craft Industry Alliance help make this a better world for everyone. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for supporting us for the last 20 years and enjoy the opportunity to take advantage of our clearance sales, which will be going on for months because we have an extended inventory…
